Stop us if you've heard this one before: Morrissey has canceled another concert due to illness. Last night's show in San Francisco was postponed because of the singer's “ongoing medical condition.”

In January, Morrissey was forced to cancel 19 concerts because of a bleeding ulcer and Barrett's esophagus. All of the shows were rescheduled, and Morrissey even added a few to the itinerary. But yesterday's setback will no doubt affect how the rest of the tour will play out.

For a short while there, it looked like we had the old Moz back. Between the string of January and February's canceled dates and yesterday's postponed show, Morrissey somehow managed to anger Staples Center promoters by insisting the venue be totally vegetarian during his appearance there; cancel a performance on Jimmy Kimmel's late-night talk show because he didn't want to be on the same program as the guys from the 'Duck Dynasty' reality show; and take a swipe at Paul McCartney's knighthood and his perceived lack of support for animals rights.

Morrissey's next performance is scheduled for Thursday, March 14, in Mexico City at the Vive Latino Festival. The San Francisco date has been rescheduled for May 1. But at this rate of canceling, postponing and rescheduling, he could be on the road all year. At least we'll probably get some amusing apologies out of all this.
