Lana Del Rey's 'Blue Jeans' may not be an obvious choice for a commercial hawking home espresso machines, but then again, what is? Nespresso insists your own house can be the best cafe in the world with its line of brew-your-own espresso makers, and something has to soundtrack the commercial -- why not the sultry sounds of LDR?

"I found the best cafe in the world," intones a woman's voice over the opening chords of 'Blue Jeans,' as a camera slowly zooms in on a wall covered with framed art. But it soon becomes apparent that the cafe is actually someone's home -- the ad was filmed in a modern apartment in New York City's trendy Soho neighborhood -- and that the woman is making her own cappuccinos, lattes and espressos "with just one touch," thanks to an Nespresso maker. And because she's having the cafe experience in the comfort of her own home, "clothing is optional," she says as she strolls across her apartment wearing nothing but a towel. Nice touch!

Lana Del Rey is no stranger to commercials, having appeared in a Keds ad during her pre-fame days. And her 'Blue Jeans' video even has the distinct vibe of a high-end fragrance spot, if that means anything to you. But, as far as we know, this Nespresso clip is the first time her music has actually been featured in a commercial.
