New Music Releases – January 2016
We just finalized our list of the 50 Best Albums of 2015, and guess what? Now it’s time to start the process all over again.
The new year will open with one big name in particular: David Bowie. Bowie’s set to release Blackstar, his 25th album to date, on his 69th birthday on Jan. 8. January will also see sophomore discs from English outfits Daughter and Savages; solo efforts from …And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead’s Conrad Keely and Fiery Furnaces’ Eleanor Friedberger; and a debut offering from Nevermen, the supergroup comprised of TV on the Radio’s Tunde Adebimpe, Faith No More’s Mike Patton and Doseone.
