At Diffuser.fm Radio, our crazy-good online station, we're always adding new music. This week, we've got six fresh cuts -- everything from Brooklyn neo-New Wave to Aussie indie-pop, with a little Johnny Marr thrown in for good measure.

The former Smiths guitarist kicks off this week's list of new music with 'The Messenger,' the title track from his forthcoming solo debut. Marr will probably never reconcile with his former foil Morrissey, but the serial collaborator might consider rocking with Twin Shadow, something of a Moz soundalike who checks in with the yearning 'The One.' Or maybe Marr would rather get his folk on and jam with the Scottish dudes in Frightened Rabbit, whose 'Woodpile' whets our appetite for the group's forthcoming 'Pedestrian Verse.'

L.A. newcomers the Neighbourhood, meanwhile, do their dark and fidgety indie thing on 'Let It Go,' offering a nice contrast to emerging Aussie foursome San Cisco's sunnier 'Awkward.' Lastly, Jersey rockers By Surprise do the Garden State proud on 'Criteria,' a hooky tune reminiscent of our favorite '90s rock.
