Shakey Graves, real name Alejandro Rose-Garcia, can cross a big item off his bucket list: be introduced on live television by 98 Degrees' Nick Lachey (we're assuming he wrote his bucket list in 1997). He did just that this week (May 18) when he appeared on VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live to perform "The Perfect Parts," from his 2014 album And The War Came. Check it out below:

Lachey and co-host Michelle Buteau did have a pretty good handle on Shakey Graves' biography, describing him as starting his career at honkey-tonks and dive bars in Austin, Texas, before moving on to bigger and better things, like Bonnaroo and South by Southwest. He's also had a big impact in the modern Americana music scene, as he and his work were recently nominated by the Americana Music Association for Album of the Year, Emerging Artist of the Year, and Song of the Year.
Shakey Graves is also on tour at the moment, with appearances at Sasquatch and Mountain Jam coming up in the next few weeks. Complete tour dates can be found on his website.
