Spoon's most recent album, They Want My Soul, has been acclaimed by nearly every standard and one of the album's stronger points is the infectious, soulful single, "Inside Out." The song is so good that a handful of artists including Fabrizio Moretti of the Strokes are putting their own spin on it for an upcoming Inside Out Remixes EP. Check out the cover art:

Aside from Moretti's remix, the four-track EP will include remixes from Operators, Tycho and Brian Reitzell. Inside Out Remixes EP is due out April 28 in digital format. Prior to the EP even being announced, other artists, like Justin Vernon of Bon Iver covered the track.

In a recent interview with Marc Maron on WTF, frontman Britt Daniel opened up about pretty much everything from his childhood struggles to Bright Eyes' Conor Oberst. “He is a dude,” said Daniel, “And people have this impression of him that he’s a depressed guy, but he’s kind of the life of the party.”

Spoon will head out on their Spring tour next month, kicking off on May 9 at the Homegrown Festival in Dallas. Check out their tour dates here.
