Fox Searchlight recently unveiled a new promo trailer for ‘Stoker,’ a forthcoming horror film starring Mia Wasikowska, Matthew Goode and Nicole Kidman. The clip features the hauntingly catchy tune ‘Becomes the Color’ by multifaceted artist Emily Wells.

The track appears on the official ‘Stoker’ soundtrack, which is scheduled for a Feb. 26, 2013, release via Milan Records. In addition to Wells’ striking song, the soundtrack comprises original work by composers Clint Mansell and Philip Glass.

Wells is a classically trained violinist who started playing music at the ripe age of 4. She is also skilled at a variety of other instruments, including the piano, guitar, drums, glockenspiel and beat machine.

Her eclectic style and unique voice caught the attention of several major labels, but she chose to forge her own path by self-releasing her albums. However, her most recent record, ‘Mama,’ came out on Partisan Records back in April.

She is currently on the road with Dark, Dark, Dark. Check out her official website for the complete tour itinerary.
