From grunge to nu-metal, pop-punk to Brit-rock and all the alternative stuff around it, the '90s were a great period for rock music.

Punk rock veterans Rancid announced they’ll release their new album 'Trouble Maker' on June 9.

This year, Death Grips, Savages, Rancid, the 1975, Beach House and more will play sideshows all over L.A. in the days surrounding Coachella.

The special 20th anniversary edition of Rancid's third full-length will arrive on Nov. 27 both digitally and on vinyl.

Though Toronto features the smallest lineup of Riot Fest’s three events, it still has plenty of exciting acts lined up for when it takes over Downsview Park.

The year was 1995, and major labels were looking for their "next big thing." Rancid looked out at the riches the labels were offering and said, "No, thank you."

Rancid have never been known as soft-spoken, but they still managed to turn up the aggression with their fifth album, which came out on Aug. 1, 2000.
