Tom DeLonge has kept his plate plenty full since splitting with Blink-182 – including, apparently, work with Area 51-related matters of “national security.”

Despite DeLonge's very public and contentious split from the pop-punk outfit earlier this year, the guitarist said he's open to going back.

Mark Hoppus said, "It may take some time, but it begins now."

It's just the first of 13 novels the former Blink-182 guitarist is set to write with best-selling co-authors.
