The Bots Perform ‘All I Really Want’ and ‘All of Them’ On a New York City Park Bench
While in New York City, we convinced the Bots -- a pair of brothers from Los Angeles who have created a blazing brand of punk-infused garage rock -- to hang out with us. On a park bench. By the Hudson River. Oh, and we asked them to bring along their equipment.
The end result? The Bots tore through two tracks from their highly-anticipated upcoming release, 'Pink Palms.' Check out 'All I Really Want' in the video above, and enjoy 'All of Them (Wide Awake)' below:
While there's something special when the Lei brothers -- guitarist Mikaiah and drummer Anaiah -- plug in and rock, it's quite an experience to witness their music in an acoustic setting. They were unfazed by strangers running by in the park and babies cruising along in strollers.
'Pink Palms' is the Bots' debut album and will hit store shelves on Oct. 14 via Fader. It was recorded in Los Angeles and produced by Justin Warfield, along with additional production by Nick Zinner of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. The album is available for pre-order here, and you can catch them on the road through November. Check out their full tour schedule below:
