Listen to the Bulls’ First-Ever Song, ‘Come Unwound’

There’s a new rock duo emerging in the overcrowded music scene, and it comes to us courtesy of Los Angeles. The Bulls -- comprised of Anna Bulbrook and Marc Sallis -- are 21st century shoegaze at its finest. Listen to their brand-new track, ‘Come Unwound,’ in the audio player below.

Bulbrook is a multi-instrumentalist best known for her work with the California indie rock outfit the Airborne Toxic Event. Fans may recognize Sallis’ name from his involvement as bassist for the English rock band the Duke Spirit.

The two members first met in New York City and then their paths crossed again in London ... and again in Paris ... and again in Indio, Calif.

It was that last meeting when they decided to join forces, blending influences like the Jesus and Mary Chain, Siouxsie and the Banshees and the Cure into one overpowering, brooding, reverb-drenched sound.

The Bulls are brand spankin’ new and have only played a few shows in Los Angeles. They’re currently in the studio wrapping things up on their debut EP.
