In the wake of the release of their brand new studio album -- and after unleashing a teaser for it late last week -- today (Nov. 24) the Decemberists have officially released their brand new music video for the single 'Make You Better,' which you can watch below. The new track will appear on their seventh studio album, 'What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World,' which is due out Jan. 20 via Capitol Records.

The video features 'Parks & Recreation' funnyman Nick Offerman as a late 1970s German TV host of the show, 'The Old Blue Rock Palace Show' -- first interviewing Colin Meloy and confusing the song title for being 'Make You Butter' rather than 'Make You Better.' Then, the band performs the song on the show's stage, while Offerman embarrassingly pursues his love interest in a sassy blonde co-worker.

The band kicks off their world tour in February in Europe, before heading back to the U.S. in March and wrapping things up in Tennessee.  You can check out all of the tour dates here -- and you can pre-order both concert tickets and the new album via the band's website.
