The Shins, Feist Appear on Radiohead Producer Nigel Godrich’s ‘From the Basement’

The third season of 'From the Basement,' the web-based performance series created by Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich, has begun. As of now, four episodes of the new season have aired, with the Shins, Feist and Aimee Mann giving intimate versions of their songs.

'From the Basement' is streamed at Crackle, with high-definition broadcasts shown on the U.K.'s Sky Arts HD site, and even in 3D at 3net. Each episode is roughly 25 minutes long.

The next episode, which will debut on Oct. 25, will feature Foster the People and Shearwater. The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Delta Spirit are also slated to appear on future dates. Previous seasons have seen performances by such names as the White Stripes, Beck and, naturally, Radiohead.
