Third Eye Blind will forever be bundled with 1990s nostalgia, but they went ahead and reminded us that they're still a thing yesterday (May 16): Check out their fully-charmed cover of Beyoncé's "Mine" below, as well as Queen Bey's original recording for context:

Third Eye Blind apparently couldn't get Drake to feature on their rendition of the track like Beyoncé did, but they still pulled off an admirable cover, which actually sounds a lot like their hit "How's It Going to Be." It appears as though the headline-grabbing cover will appear on Dopamine, the group's upcoming album set for release on June 16. A press release from earlier this month described the album as “a road-tested collection of songs chronicling the band’s time on tour since their last studio effort, Ursa Major.”

Speaking of the road, Third Eye Blind are about to be on it with Dashboard Confessional for a bunch of dates from the end of May until late July. Have a look at their upcoming tour dates below:
