If you've ever had the chance to see Third Eye Blind onstage, you definitely noticed that Stephan Jenkins is a theatrical performer. In a press release, the frontman said actor Tim Curry is an influence of that – so it's fitting the band's NSFW video for "Get Me Out of Here" (directed by Jenkins) pays homage to one of Curry's biggest films.

The clip starts off like an old silent movie: We see Jenkins hanging out before a Third Eye Blind show with his girlfriend (played by actress Tara Perry). When she asks Jenkins if he would die for her, she says she would for him, pulls out a knife and slits her own throat. It's twisted, but the video has a campy Rocky Horror Picture Show tone to it.

"I think the idea behind my character being haunted by flashbacks and demonized by the ghost of a girlfriend past is that relationships are kind of a nightmare," Jenkins said. "That this coincides with the 40th anniversary of The Rocky Horror Picture Show just feels so lucky as well. 'I'm Going Home' has been our walk-out music every night for years."

Watch closely and you'll also see a cameo by Chris Carrabba of Dashboard Confessional. "Get Me Out of Here" is on Third Eye Blind's latest album, Dopamine, out now via Mega Collider Records.
