Only about a week after former Sonic Youth co-leader Thurston Moore's new band debuted songs at a tiny club in London, they found themselves playing before a veritable sea of people at this past weekend's Pukkelpop in Belgium.

The band -- featuring My Bloody Valentine bassist Debbie Googe, U.K. singer-songwriter James Sedwards and Sonic Youth drummer Steve Shelley -- treated the festival crowd to a preview of material from their upcoming full-length, 'The Best Day,' including the epic, 13-minute 'Forevermore' (which you can watch in the video above). The album drops Oct. 21 via Matador -- and all of this is separate from the just-announced debut album from Moore's other band, Caught on Tape.
