After teasing a forthcoming U.S. tour last week, Tool have unveiled the first eight stops in the run of dates.

The tour will kick off on Jan. 9 in San Diego, Calif. From there, Maynard James Keenan and company will play shows in San Antonio; Tulsa, Okla.; Grand Prairie, Texas; Southaven, Miss.; Nashville, Tenn.; Atlanta; and Charlotte, N.C. See the complete list of dates and venues at the bottom of the page.

In a statement, the band promised “dramatic video projections,” a “sonic and visual extravaganza” and opening acts that “will in all likeliness be exciting to many Tool enthusiasts.” Tool recently played their first and only show of 2015 at Monster Mash Festival in Tempe, Ariz., on Halloween.

Tool released their last album, 10,000 Days, in 2006. Keenan, however, just returned with Money Shot, his latest full-length with his side project Puscifer, last month.
