Earlier this week, Vance Joy's debut album, 'Dream Your Life Away,' hit store shelves. To help celebrate the release, Joy -- who's more formally known as James Keogh -- recently performed a stripped-down version of one of the LP's tracks, 'Red Eye,' at Sing Sing Recording Studios in Melbourne, Australia. You can watch the video above.

The Melbourne-based singer-songwriter, alongside his band, pours his heart out in the rendition of this romantic track, almost as if he's going through the emotions right then and there. The song depicts a relationship that has been severed, only to be reunited at the conclusion of the song, according to Joy.

Joy not only appeared at the Outside Lands music festival in California a few weeks ago, but he is currently on his 'Dream Your Life Away' tour for the next two months. If you like what you hear, check him out; get more details on the new album and find his full tour schedule here.
