Last night (Dec. 16), Australian singer-songwriter Vance Joy made an appearance on TBS' 'Conan' to perform his smash hit 'Riptide.' Off of his debut effort, 'Dream Your Life Away,' which was just released in September, 'Riptide' has been enjoying constant success while sitting on the national alternative radio charts for 32 weeks. If you missed the 'Conan' performance -- or just want to watch it again and again -- check out the ukelele performance below.

Formally known as James Keogh, the former football player is already achieving heavy recognition, especially with plans to join Taylor Swift on her upcoming spring tour. 'Riptide' will no doubt be a fan favorite at those shows; with its Hawaiian sound -- thanks to the ukulele -- it plays out like a Jason Mraz track.

Speaking on his music, Joy recently stated in an interview with Diffuser that he thinks "the process of making music and sharing it definitely suggests a desire to make an impression and be heard ... I have that feeling like I have something worthwhile to offer and that is what leads me to express myself in music.”
