Last night (Aug. 25), Beck and St. Vincent joined the not-so-exclusive club that is Taylor Swift’s 1989 tour surprise guests.

For her fourth and final concert at L.A.’s Staples Center, Swift brought out Beck and Annie Clark to play the Morning Phase singer’s latest single, “Dreams.” The performance was complete with some silly jumping/dancing and Clark’s mean guitar solo backed with a wall of pyrotechnics. Watch clips below:

Both Swift and Clark tweeted about the “magic” experience, but personally, we think the only thing that was notably absent was Kanye West -- the true missing, award ceremony stage-crashing link between these performers.

Beck unveiled “Dreams,” his first post-Morning Phase single, earlier this summer. There’s still no word as to whether or not the song will appear on a new album from the singer-songwriter, and if so, when that LP can be expected.
