Feist's latest studio album, 'Metals,' has been out since September, but she's still promoting it like it came out yesterday -- and last night (April 12), that meant showing up on 'The Tonight Show,' impressively large backing band in tow, to perform 'The Bad in Each Other.'

It's part of a busy April for Feist, who's also appearing at Coachella and prepping a special split single with Mastodon in honor of Record Store Day -- and her year will only get more hectic from there, including a summer tour that's sending her all over the country and across Europe, with stops penciled in for Bonnaroo and the Pitchfork Music Festival.

But Feist isn't forgetting the Juno Award-winning 'Metals' in all the hubbub. Although her label has already moved on to the third single from the album, 'Bittersweet Melodies,' she opted to fall back on 'The Bad in Each Other' for this performance, taking advantage of her unwieldy backing band to deliver a gripping live rendition of the album track. Take a look below, and let us know what you think -- is this the best thing to happen on Leno's show all year?
