Holychild are still relatively fresh off the release of the debut full-length, The Shape of Brat Pop to Come, which landed earlier this summer shortly after their Mindspeak EP. And though the indie-pop duo will be on the road for the foreseeable future, opening for the likes of Fun.'s Nate Ruess and Walk the Moon, they recently made their headlining debut at D.C.’s Rock & Roll Hotel.

Part of the FIAT 500Xclusive concert series, Holychild’s Liz Nistico and Louie Diller convened over a frenetic dance party at the H Street corridor venue, playing some of Brat Pop's standout cuts. Even if you weren't present for the gig -- or even if you were, for that matter -- you can now relive the twosome’s performances of “Happy With Me” and “Money All Around.” Check out the former at the top of the page, and then watch Nistico weave her way through the crowd, embracing fans, in the latter clip below.

While the duo has since relocated to L.A., Nistico and Diller’s creative partnership originated during their days as students at George Washington University, and the magnetic frontwoman says it was “serendipitous” to return to their stomping grounds for the homecoming show.

“It was so magical, the vibe was amazing,” Nistico said in in an interview, which can be seen in full below. “It’s crazy to be back here now.”

You can still catch Holychild live during their upcoming tour. They’re slated to appear with Ruess throughout the remainder of September before launching a string of dates with Walk the Moon in October. They’ll also play this year’s Austin City Limits on Oct. 10. Find more details on the band’s website.
