Ween Plan 30-Song Sets Without Any Repeats for Upcoming Reunion Tour
Ween are gearing up for their first live shows in four years, and according to Dean Ween (aka Mickey Melchiondo, Jr.), the sets will boast roughly 30 songs per night -- and that’s not even including requests.
Ween’s reunion jaunt will kick off next week with a three-night stand at 1STBANK Center in Denver, and Echobase points out Melchiondo, on a Facebook fan page, revealed the band has pretty expansive shows lined up for fans, with more than 90 songs planned across the three concerts.
“I count 94 songs w[ith] no requests taken into consideration… and we’re off…,” he wrote. Later still, Melchiondo said they won’t repeat a single song during the three-night run.
After their stop in Colorado, Ween will play another three-night residency at New York City’s Terminal 5 in April. They’ll also play this year’s Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival in Florida, LEVITATION Festival in Austin and Bonnaroo in Manchester, Tenn. See a complete rundown of their reunion dates below:
