Eight months after first announcing it, MGMT are finally ready to put out Little Dark Age. It will be released on Feb. 9, and the news was accompanied by the track listing and dates for a North American tour. The band have previously teased the record with the title track and its closer, "Hand It Over."

MGMT revealed all the details today on Facebook, and Vanyaland adds that Little Dark Age was tracked at Tarbox Road Studios in Cassadaga, N.Y., with Patrick Wimberly and Dave Fridmann co-producing it with the band.

MGMT also gave us a video of Andrew VanWyngarden and Ben Goldwasser making the record. In addition to seeing them in the studio and hearing bits of the new work, you also get a glimpse of the two of them playing Frisbee, bowling and covering John Mellencamp's "Jack and Diane."

The tour will begin on March 2 at the Myth in St. Paul, Minn., and will conclude in mid-June at the Firefly Music Festival in Dover, Del. Pre-sales for all dates begin today at noon local time, and they'll go onsite to the general public on Friday, Jan. 19 at 10AM local time. Check all the dates below and get full details at MGMT's website.
