Adele Gives Birth to Baby Boy

Adele has given birth to a baby boy, according to U.K. news sources, and the 24-year-old is reportedly "ecstatic" about the arrival of her first child. Reps for the singer have yet to comment, but Adele and boyfriend Simon Konecki are said to have welcomed the baby Friday night.

The British songstress broke the news of her pregnancy in June, when she wrote on her blog that she and Koncecki -- who she began dating last summer -- were "over the moon and very excited" to be starting a family. Adele asked that folks "respect our privacy at this precious time," and we're sure the always-tactful U.K. press will give the singer and her baby boy all the space they need.

Our sincerest congrats to Adele and Simon. This should take the sting out of 'Skyfall' missing No. 1, eh?
