Bat for Lashes, a.k.a. singer/songwriter Natasha Khan, will return in October with her first album of new material in three years. Somewhat appropriately, considering it's scheduled for release 16 days before Halloween, it's titled 'The Haunted Man.'

'The Haunted Man' follows 2009's 'Two Suns,' which earned a gold certification in Khan's native U.K. and reached No. 2 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart; in the years since, Bat for Lashes has stayed busy with appearances on a number of soundtracks, including 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.'

The band started road testing new material last year -- as you can see in the video embedded below -- and Khan began introducing tracks from 'The Haunted Man' during her performance in Cambridge on June 13.

'The Haunted Man' will kick off a flurry of fall activity for Bat for Lashes, including a U.K. tour that's scheduled to run from mid-October through early November. Take a look at the complete list of dates below, and check out the untitled new song Khan revealed during her appearance at the Sydney Opera House last year.
