Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong was not a happy camper at the iHeart Radio Festival in Las Vegas last night (Sept. 21.). The incensed singer launched an expletive-filled tirade after noticing a countdown clock indicating the band's seven-song set had only one minute to go. He used that final minute not to rock out but to go on a rant, furiously spewing obscenities, namely the "f" word, and smashing his guitar before leaving the stage with a one-finger salute.

It's been reported that Green Day's 45-minute performance was chopped down to only 25 so that R&B singer Usher could extend his set. That's certainly a slap in the face to rock music. No wonder Armstrong went absolutely ballistic.

Green Day were performing 'Basket Case' when said countdown clock distracted Armstrong from the task at hand. He was midway through the song when he said, "I wanna play a new song. F— this s—. Gimme a f---ing break, one minute left. One minute f---ing left. You’re gonna give me one minute?! Look at that f---ing sign right there, one minute!"

He pulled his well-earned elder statesmen card, yelling, "Let me tell you something … I've been around since f---ing 1988, and you’re gonna give me one f---ing minute?! You’ve gotta be kidding me."

Reminding people that, "I’m not Justin f---ing Bieber, you motherf---ers," Armstrong continued to spit venom, saying, "You’ve gotta be f---ing joking. It’s a f---ing joke. I’ve got one minute, one minute left. Oh, now I’ve got nothing left.”

And with that, he bashed his guitar on the stage over and over again.

Forget making an entrance. Billie Joe Armstrong demonstrated how you make an exit when you're a rock star.
