It’s been nearly a year since Jack Antonoff of Fun. fame dropped Strange Desire, his solo debut under the stage moniker Bleachers. Today (June 2), he’s returned with the Like a River Runs EP. Check out the cover art below:

The EP features three new versions of the most recent Strange Desire single, “Like a River Runs," including a new take by Antonoff himself, a cover of the song by Sia and a live cut recorded during a recent concert in Buffalo, New York. The four-song set concludes with a recording of Antonoff’s conversation with a dream specialist titled, “Dreams Aren’t Random.”

The latter could very well speak to the inspiration behind “Like a River Runs,” which Antonoff described as being “a very sad song about loss and when you’re in a dream state and you’re not fully remembering what did or didn’t happen.” You can stream the entire EP now on Spotify and buy it on iTunes.

In addition to the Like a River Runs EP, Antonoff has announced a new string of U.S. tour dates with Charli XCX. They will kick off in San Diego, Calif., on July 21, with the first leg concluding in Columbus, Ohio, on Aug. 12. More dates will be added on June 5. Check out the complete itinerary below and grab tickets on Bleachers’ website.

Bleachers’ new EP follows a recent conversation in which Antonoff revealed he's primarily focused on his solo project as opposed to his Grammy-winning outfit, Fun., who dropped their sophomore full-length, Some Nights, back in 2012.
