Anticipation is running pretty high for the soundtrack to Zach Braff's forthcoming sorta-sequel to 'Garden State.' 'Wish I Was Here' will feature new songs by the Shins, Coldplay and Cat Power.

After getting a taste of the new Shins song in the film's trailer a couple weeks ago, we now get to hear a new Bon Iver song, 'Heavenly Father.' NPR is now streaming it right here.

The song features Bon Iver's Justin Vernon dropping his familiar falsetto to deliver a world-weary hymn over looped beats and the otherworldly buzz of an electronic choir. "Well, I know now, honey, that I can't pretend," he sings, seemingly addressing a lost love.

'Wish I Was Here' music supervisor Mary Ramos brought a rough cut of the film to the home of Vernon and his brother in Wisconsin, and he tells NPR that the Bon Iver mastermind was already humming the song's melody as soon as the credits were rolling.

"Before I even left their house, Justin was recording the first version of the song in his downstairs studio," he said. "His inspiration was that immediate."

The 'Wish I Was Here' soundtrack arrives on July 15, three days before the movie opens. Here's the official trailer to tide you over until then:
