Coheed and Cambria Announce Shows With Glassjaw + Cursive

Coheed and Cambria are set to release their eighth studio album, The Color Before The Sun, on Oct. 9 via 300 Entertainment. Two days later, the band will start a short run of shows featuring special guests Glassjaw, who will join them on Oct. 11 in New Jersey, and Cursive, who will perform at the remaining shows. The Color Before The Sun is the band's first album since 2013's The Afterman: Descension. Frontman Claudio Sanchez previously said of the album, their first that doesn't follow the same narrative concept of their previous records, "I kind of want people to know that Coheed can write that sort of record. I’ve always said in the past that there’s never been a limitation on the band. It makes no sense to me to draw a line in the sand and never cross it."
