Coheed and Cambria’s Claudio Sanchez Travels NYC Subway in ‘Island’ Video

Last week, Coheed and Cambria returned with The Color Before the Sun, their first since 2013’s The Afterman: Descension and their first non-concept album ever. Now, they’re celebrating the album’s arrival with a new video for lead track, “Island.” Check it out above.

The video cuts between performance footage of the band and frontman Claudio Sanchez alternately wandering the New York City subway system and playing guitar in a field. The new clip joins lyric videos for The Color Before the Sun's “Eraser,” “Here to Mars” and “You Got Spirit, Kid.” The band also opened up about the inspiration behind album track, “Young Love,” in a behind-the-scenes video.

Coheed’s tour takes them to Portland tonight (Oct. 22). Then, they have more U.S. stops planned through the beginning of December, plus a show Mexico City on Nov. 4. Get more details at the band’s website.
