Fresh off the arrival of the Arcs’ debut album, Yours, Dreamily, last week, the Black Keys frontman Dan Auerbach’s new side project has shared a music video for album single, “Outta My Mind.” Check it out above.

Directed by Nick Walker, the new clip captures Auerbach and his new bandmates -- Leon Michels, Richard Swift, Homer Steinweiss and Nick Movshon -- performing on a swirling psychedelic backdrop. About midway through, the video cuts out to allow for YouTube footage of a fight in Chinatown. Seeing that theme through, the video closes with another kind of fight -- namely the feud between Meek Mill and Drake that unfolded online earlier this summer. The video-closing conversation debates the ethics of Meek Mill's role in the beef before sagely concluding that the rapper "may not live by the same rules as us.”

The Arcs have a pair of shows in New York City before they head overseas for a string of European dates. First, they’ll play a show at the Housing Works Bookstore Café for NPR’s Music First Listen Live on Sept. 9. Then, they will play the Bowery Ballroom on Sept. 26. Get more details at the band’s website.
