Chicago pop-rockers Fall Out Boy have debuted ‘Irresistible,’ yet another single from their upcoming album, ‘American Beauty/American Psycho.’ Take a listen above.

The band posted the new track to their website, where bassist Pete Wentz said the song is about the tumultuous relationship of the Sex Pistols’ Sid Vicious and his girlfriend Nancy Spungen.

“When I think of ‘Irresistible,’ it brings this image to my head, whether it’s fictional or real, of Sid and Nancy in an alley, garbage raining down on them in an eternal spiral of romance and poison,” Wentz wrote. “Sometimes it [sic] hard not to love what can hurt us the most.”

Fall Out Boy have already released four other songs from their forthcoming sixth album, including its title track, ‘Immortals,’ ‘Centuries’ and ‘The Kids Aren’t All Right.’

‘American Beauty/American Psycho’ is slated for a Jan. 20 release. It follows Fall Out Boy’s 2013 comeback album -- they reunited after a five-year hiatus -- ‘Save Rock and Roll.’ Get details on the record here.
