While it increasingly sounds like James Iha might soon be ready to smash pumpkins with Billy Corgan again, he's reportedly keeping busy with another easygoing auteur.

The former Smashing Pumpkins guitarist has reportedly signed on to score James Franco's upcoming Lifetime original movie, Mother, May I Sleep With Danger?. It's a remake of the 1996 TV movie starring Tori Spelling and Ivan Sergei about a mother who becomes increasingly suspicious of her daughter's boyfriend.

Franco's version is a lesbian vampire drama that "brings a whole new meaning to 'sleeping with danger.'"

Both Spelling and Sergei are both back for the reboot, which Franco also stars in alongside Leila George (, Emily Meade and Nick Eversman.

It won't be Iha's first foray into TV: He wrote the theme music for the first season of Hulu's original series Deadbeat. Listen below.

Mother, May I Sleep With Danger? premieres June 18 on Lifetime.
