More Kurt Cobain Death Scene Photos Released by Police
Ten days after Seattle Police confirmed that the April 5, 1994, suicide of Kurt Cobain had been reexamined by an investigator, more photos have been released from the death scene.
A couple days ago, authorities released a handful of pics taken at the scene. They were from undeveloped film that was discovered in a police vault. Six more photos have now been added to the nine that were previously released.
Originally, when the story broke last week, only a photo of Cobain's heroin kit was released. Then more detailed photos from the crime scene emerged. The latest batch mostly feature detectives standing in the room where the Nirvana frontman killed himself.
The investigator who reexamined the case told a local news station that no photos of Cobain's body will ever be released.
UPDATE: There are more new photos here.
