Listen to the New Sweet Valley + GZA Collaboration, ‘Planetary Energy’

Sweet Valley -- an electro duo featuring Wavves’ Nathan Williams and his brother Kynan -- and Wu-Tang Clan’s GZA have teamed up on “Planetary Energy,” a new track for Converse’s Cons EP Vol. 3. Take a listen below:

“Planetary Energy” -- which can also be downloaded for free on Soundcloud -- is the final track to emerge from the third edition of the collaborative Cons EP series. Kim Gordon and J Mascis’ “Slow Boy” arrived back in June. The third cut, “Satin Black,” features Hanni El Khatib and Freddie Gibbs. Listen to the entire EP at this location.

Cons EP Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 included songs by the Bots, Trash Talk, Flatbush Zombies, Black Dice, Vince Staples and more.

It’s been a couple of years since Wavves dropped their most recent album, Afraid of Heights, but the band released a collaborative album with Cloud Nothings titled, No Life for Me, last month.
