Real Estate might be a Brooklyn band by way of New Jersey, but they've definitely got that laid back style that is reminiscent of the west coast. So when they dropped by 'Conan' last night (Nov. 17), they seemed to fit right in.

Performing their single, 'Crime,' you would hardly think that the track with lyrics like, "I don't wanna die / Lonely and uptight / Stay with me / All will be revealed," could sound sweet. But with Martin Courtney on the vocals, it just carries over like a nice pop song for the beach. Check out their performance in the video above.

"Great, that's fantastic," Conan O'Brien said following the song. He even commented on Courtney's guitar by saying, "That was excellent. Love that."

Real Estate are finishing up some tour dates before taking a break for the rest of the year. They will be playing the Belasco tonight (Nov. 19) in Los Angeles before heading over to Brazil to play a couple of dates, finishing things off with the Primavera Fauna Festival in Santiago, Chile on Nov. 22 and the Music Win Festival in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
