At the beginning of the year, Silverchair’s Daniel Johns revealed that he’d be returning to the spotlight (after eight years away) with his first-ever solo album, Aerial Love, in March.

The former grunge-rock frontman has already debuted the LP’s lead single and title track, and now he’s giving listeners another preview of the upcoming album with the premiere of its closing track, “Late Night Drive.” Listen below:

The Australian singer-songwriter worked with producer Joel Little – who also worked with Lorde on her debut, Pure Heroine – to develop his new R&B sound on his first solo effort.

“I finally left the house and got a plane ticket to New Zealand and worked in Joel’s studio for a while and [‘Late Night Drive’] was one of the ones that we came up with,” Johns told Billboard. “There are a couple of others that made the album but I thought ‘Late Night Drive’ was just a really nice way to musically and lyrically wrap up what’s to be the first taste of what I’m doing at the moment.”

Aerial Love will land on shelves on March 13 via Eleven: A Music Company. It follows Johns’ last album with Silverchair, 2007’s Young Modern.
