Watch St. Vincent On Vanessa Bayer’s Web Series, ‘Sound Advice’

Outside of her day job at ‘Saturday Night Live,’ comedienne Vanessa Bayer moonlights as unhelpful-publicist-to-the-stars Janessa Slater in Above Average’s web series, ‘Sound Advice.’ After sitting down with everyone from Drake to Interpol, in the latest episode, she speaks with St. Vincent’s Annie Clark.

Suggesting self-created PR scandals and admitting that she’s never actually listened to the singer’s music is only the beginning of Slater’s cringe-worthy advice. Slater goes so far as to recommend that St. Vincent revert back to her given name, when Clark points out that Prince's real name isn't actually Prince.

Slater responds, “Yeah, but he’s actually a prince, right?”
