Annie Clark - AKA St. Vincent - is one of many artists ready to contribute to this year's Record Store Day. The former Polyphonic Spree will release a 7" vinyl containing two new songs.

Pitchfork reports that the limited-edition red record will feature 'KROKODIL' and 'GROT.' The collection "showcases Clark's aggressive guitar chops and marks a stylistic departure from 'Strange Mercy,'" the third studio album from the Tulsa, Okla., native that was released last year.

Label 4AD announced that St. Vincent's '4AD Sessions' from October will be made available for download April 10 on iTunes. The performance features four songs from 'Strange Mercy,' including the title track, 'Year of the Tiger' and more. Watch the whole performance below.

Speaking of 'Strange Mercy', 4AD will reissue the album as a special edition on May 8. Entitled 'Stranger Mercy,' the new CD will include a DVD of '4AD Sessions' and music videos for 'Cruel' and 'Cheerleader.'

Record Store Day is set to take place on April 21. The event celebrates the indie spirit of record stores and encourages shoppers to buy music from their local shops. Artists from all genres have released material exclusive to Record Store Day to help encourage sales at independent retailers.
