Stream Beach House’s New Album ‘Thank Your Lucky Stars’

It was only a little more than a week ago when Beach House announced they would drop Thank Your Lucky Stars, a super-quick follow-up to August’s Depression Cherry. Now, the duo’s latest album is out, and you can stream it on Spotify:

Thank Your Lucky Stars was recorded at the same time as Depression Cherry, according to Beach House’s Victoria Legrand and Alex Scally.

“Thematically, this record often feels political,” the band said in a statement. “It’s hard to put it into words, but something about the record made us want to release it without the normal ‘campaign.’ We wanted it to simply enter the world and exist.”

You can purchase a digital download of Thank Your Lucky Stars on iTunes, and a vinyl edition can be found right here. The album will be issued on CD on Oct. 30. Likewise, Beach House are one of the first artists to contribute exclusive-run cassettes to Urban Outfitters’ newly launched inventory, but for the time being, that appears to only include Depression Cherry.

Beach House are currently on tour in the U.K. They’ll head to the states in December for a string of sold-out gigs in California, including stops in Santa Ana, four nights in L.A. and three in San Francisco. Find more details at the band's website.
