Panda Bear’s latest album, Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper, has been fruitful for the man behind the stage name, Animal Collective's Noah Lennox. It’s already produced the PBVSGR collection of remixes and the Crosswords EP. (The EP’s title track is a reworked version of the PBMTGR original.) Now, it’s spurred yet another mix of previously unreleased material dubbed Swallow at the Hollow.

The 26-minute mix features songs recorded around the same time as Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper. You can stream it in its entirety via the Soundcloud player below:

Lennox described the songs as a series of “scribbles or doodles” in an accompanying statement:

Swallow at the Hollow is a mix of things I made around the same time as all the Grim Reaper tracks. They kind of feel like scribbles or doodles and for some reason or another I couldn’t find my way of singing with them. Some of them just stuck out like sore thumbs. I hope you enjoy them and wanted to say thanks very much for listening and thanks to those of you who came out to see the shows the past couple of years.

Happy Halloween…
PEACE noah
