Stream Panda Bear’s Surprise EP, ‘Crosswords’

On the heels of his fifth full-length, Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper, which arrived earlier this year, Panda Bear (aka Animal Collective’s Noah Lennox) has shared a new EP. Featuring three original songs and two reworked tracks, Panda Bear’s Crosswords EP is out today (Aug. 20) as a digital download. It will be made available on CD and vinyl on Nov. 13 via Domino.

With the new release comes one of the EP’s brand-new cuts, “No Mans Land,” which you can hear up above. Crosswords also boasts an updated version of the title track -- which originally appeared on Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper -- and “The Preakness.” Listen to "No Mans Land" above or stream the entire EP below.

Lennox has a handful of tour dates on the books, including an appearance at Miami’s III Points Festival; CRSSD Festival in San Diego, Calif.; CMJ Music Marathon in New York City; and Treasure Island Music Festival in San Francisco. He’ll also take up a three-night residency at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City from Oct. 13-15. Get more details below.

Lennox has remained busy since his fifth LP. He dropped his PBVSGR EP earlier this summer, which compiled remixes of several Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper songs.
