Fans previously learned from Reddit that Australia's Tame Impala planned to release a new album this year. Now, the indie rockers have released the first taste of what to expect in the form of the mind-blowing single, "Let It Happen." Check it out below.

The album, which currently has no title or release date, will serve as the follow-up to 2012's Lonerism. The eight-minute track mixes the band's usual synth instrumentals with their psychedelic approach, and even has some trance elements, too.

Along with the new song, Tame Impala announced plans to head out on a North American tour this spring, which will include stops at Coachella, Sasquatch, Governors Ball, SXSW and Boston Calling. They will also be performing at the inaugural Lollapalooza Berlin later this year.
