Last night (April 22) on the Late Show with David Letterman, one of the late night television host's favorite bands, Dawes, appeared as musical guests to perform their recent single, "Things Happen." Check out the clip of their late night debut above.

Letterman introduced the band with pride, saying, "If you're looking for a rock 'n' roll band, this is pretty much all you need." They laid down a relaxed version of the track which appears on the quartet's upcoming studio album, All Your Favorite Bands. When Dawes finished playing, the enamored Letterman half-jokingly said, “People say to me, ‘When you’re done with the show, what will you do?’ I’m happy to announce I’m joining Dawes.”

All Your Favorite Bands serves as the follow-up to their 2013 album, Stories Don’t End. It's due out on June 2 via the band’s own Hub label. Their 2015 tour with Hozier will kick back up in June, including an appearance at Bonnaroo. Check out their current tour itinerary and keep up with the band via their website.
