Watch Kim Gordon as Peaches’ Wrestling Coach in ‘Close Up’ Video

If we were about to face off in a wrestling match, we would definitely want Kim Gordon in our corner.

That certainly seems to have been Peaches’ logic when casting her video for “Close Up,” a song from her upcoming album, Rub (Gordon is also featured on the track). However, things don’t fare too well for the Canadian electro-pop musician, as Gordon couldn’t be less committed to her training and each of Peaches’ matches devolves into increasingly gross disasters. She finally throws in the towel and just hooks up with her last opponent.

"I'm fascinated by Lucha VaVOOM, the work they do, and by classic bro movies like Rocky; the relationships between coach and student and between men and their sports," Peaches said of her latest video in a statement. "For 'Close Up,' I wanted to combine the two, adding some little twists.”

You can watch the Vice Cooler-directed clip up above (it’s pretty safe to call this one NSFW). Peaches’ Rub is due out Sept. 25 via I U She Music, following 2009’s I Feel Cream.

This isn't Gordon’s first foray into acting. In addition to recently contributing music to the German horror movie, The Nightmare, she also appears in the film.
