Last month, Thom Yorke made two surprise appearances at the Latitude Festival in Suffolk, England. First he joined Portishead on stage, and then he took up his own set with Nigel Godrich. The latter performance included previously unheard music, and now a fan-shot video of Yorke playing a new song during the set has surfaced online. Check it out above.

The song's title and where it will appear is still unclear, but Radiohead are currently working on a follow-up to 2011’s King of Limbs. Godrich, who serves as the English rockers’ producer, shared a photo of Yorke in the studio shortly before their joint appearance at Latitude. Yorke is also in the midst of composing music for an upcoming Broadway play, which will make its debut this October.

Yorke’s Latitude set served as his very first performance in support of his most recent solo effort, last year’s Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes. He’ll play another solo show this weekend on Aug. 15 in Tokyo. He’s also slated to appear at Pathway to Paris in December. The climate change benefit concert will also feature Patti Smith, Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea and Dhani Harrison.
