Blake Lively Gucci Premiere 2012 Commercial – What’s the Song?

A new commercial for Gucci's Premiere fragrance starring Blake Lively of 'Gossip Girl' fame evokes classic Hollywood glamour and features 'Midnight City (Eric Prydz Private Remix)' by M83.

In the spot, Lively, dressed in a shimmeringly sexy backless gold evening gown -- which, presumably, is also a Gucci creation -- is staring out of a panorama window toward the Los Angeles skyline. She sprays herself with a healthy dose of Gucci Premiere and becomes mentally transported to a movie set out in the desert, where she cools herself off by walking in front of a fan that is considerably taller than she is. Suddenly, she steps out of her house's private elevator, ready for a night on the town.

'Midnight City,' by French electronic music band M83, was the first single from their 2011 album, 'Hurry Up, We're Dreaming' and reached No. 72 on Billboard's Hot 100. It has been used as the theme to the British reality show 'Made in Chelsea' and reached the top of many Best of 2011 lists.
