The Black Keys’ frontman Dan Auerbach has had a busy 2015 with his newest venture the Arcs. The psych-rock outfit dropped their debut Yours, Dreamily back in August, launched a collaborative release series just in time for Record Store Day Black Friday and they're currently on a tour that will see them through the end of the month. Now, they’ve added another new song to the pile for Danger Mouse’s newly launched label 30th Century.

Danger Mouse (aka Brian Burton) will introduce listeners to his label with 30th Century Records Compilation Volume I later this week, gathering songs from 30th Century's artists. While the Arcs aren’t signed to Burton’s Columbia imprint, they contribute the brand-new song “Fools Gold.” Take a listen in the video at the top of the page.

“Generally, fool’s gold is made of iron or copper pyrites that are often mistaken for gold,” Auerbach told Rolling Stone of the song. “It has the same thrilling discovery, the same shiny luster and perceived weight as gold, but it isn’t gold and when all is said and done, it has the same value as a hunk of s---. It’s always been so easy to be a fool.”

30th Century Records Compilation Volume I is due out Dec. 18. Check out the track list below.

The Arcs only have a few more U.S. tour dates on the horizon. They’ll play D.C.’s 9:30 Club tonight (Dec. 15) followed by stops in Philadelphia; Atlanta; Charlotte, N.C.; and Nashville, Tenn. Get more information right here.
