The lineup for the 5th Annual Roots Picnic in Philadelphia includes some of the biggest names in hip-hop and R&B, like Kid Cudi and De La Soul, and a smattering of indie rock favorites, including James Murphy, St. Vincent and Tune-Yards.

The two-day event takes over the Festival Pier at Penn’s Landing in Philly on June 2-3. Festival headliners the Roots will perform their own set in addition to backing up De La Soul during that trio's performance. Murphy, formerly of LCD Soundsystem, will offer a DJ set. Also on the bill: Wale, Diplo, Major Lazer, Flosstradamus, Danny Brown, Kids These Days, and Shabazz Palaces.

The Roots Picnic has featured impressive lineups throughout its first four years. Past performers have included Vampire Weekend, TV on the Radio, the Black Keys, Santigold, John Legend, Gnarls Barkley, and Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings.

Pre-sale tickets are available today via Ticketmaster with the password "picnic." The two-day pass runs about $96 after surcharges.
